1. With every Metcom billing, you can clearly see the Metcom Rate compared to the Local telephone companies.

2. Yes, your local service remains the same. All Operator assistance calls remain the same.

3. No, Their are no special numbers or access codes to connect thru our network, just pick up the phone and dial your number.

4. For your convenience, you may pay direct at any Canadian chartered Bank; join our pre-authorized bank debit system; pay your bill with your Visa / MasterCard; or mail your cheque to Metcom in our self-addressed envelope.

5. Their are absolutely NO start up costs to join our Long Distance Plan. Once your signed application is received we will have you hooked up in no time.

6. Yes, all our calling cards can be used overseas. However, Metcom calling cards are sent to you with International call block (for security reasons). You would need to call customer service to lift the block, at this stage you can use your card from overseas.

7. Their are no cancellation charges. If for any reason you would want to cancel your Long Distance Program with Metcom you need only to join another carrier, that would automatically cancel your plan with us.

8. With the Metcom Toll-Free Service (800 / 888) their are NO hidden service charges, NO monthly minimums, No activation charges, No charges or disruptions to your existing 800 service. We offer a flat rate discount with customized 800 billing.

9. Once your signed application is received it will take approximately 5-10 business days to activate your line with our carrier.

10. With the Metcom Long Distance Program their is NO monthly minimum. Whether you make 1 or 2 calls one month or 20-25 calls the next month, your discount rate remains the same.

11. All Metcom calls are billed with minimum 30 seconds, and 6 second increments. Metcom customers will never have to pay for calls rounded to the next minute. If your call lasts for 5 minutes and 46 seconds that's what you will be billed for, not 6 minutes.
